Christmas with Santa at Clonard House

An interactive family experience in the beautiful grounds and courtyard around Clonard House, Mullingar.

Meet the elves

They are organising all the letters that arrive for Santa each day. There are orders to be counted, production plans to be made – it’s very important there’s enough of everything to load onto the sleigh by December 24th.

Photo in Santa's House

Follow the trail through the forest and enter Santa’s beautiful house. Have your photo taken in his drawing room – he can’t be in the photo because he is down in his workshop sorting out all the presents and his very important lists!

Chat with Santa Through the Window

Continue along to the old courtyard where you will chat to Santa through the window. Next year he will be able to come out and chat to everyone but this year he is going to stay inside so he can do a great job of social distancing.

Lofty the elf who is working very hard upstairs will send a surprise gift down the chute for each child.

The Crib

You can visit the traditional crib and meet the animals resting in their sheds around the courtyard.

Victorian Christmas Market

After your experience you can saunter around the beautiful Victorian Christmas Market and pick up some unusual gifts or delicious treats.

Wrap up warmly – it’s Christmastime!

Just attended the Santa experience and loved it. The kids were in amazement with the elves and in absolute awe with Santa Claus. He was amazing. Great social distancing in place to. Carol singers saang to us as well.

A fantastic evening in Clonard House. Such a lovely relaxed atmosphere, the staff were so lovely and Santa was the best ever and had so much time to chat to the children. Was no rushing along for any part of the experience. Thank you Clonard house for adding a bit of magic in such strange times
